Group Pilates Classes in Pontypridd's only Fully Equipped Classical Pilates Studio
Important note; If you have acute injuries, chronic pain, certain medical conditions (e.g; osteoporosis, neurological conditions), have recently had surgery or are pregnant, you need to take some private lessons before booking group classes. Build your foundation & learn your personal modifications first so that you are able to move safely with confidence in a group.
Book via Gymcatch; You can buy a single class, 3 pack or 6 pack of Mat or Barrel Classes. For Group Apparatus Classes you can buy a single class 3, 6 or 9 pack. All single sessions & packages are to use over 12 weeks from date of purchase. All booked classes have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Bookings are self-managed via your Gymcatch account- book your classes to suit your schedule. Please note; Full Studio Group Apparatus Classes using the Reformer & Individual Workouts Group Apparatus Classes have strict pre-requisites to join.


Group Apparatus Classes:
I offer 3 types of Group Apparatus Classes & the 3, 6 & 9 packs are transferable across all 3 class types allowing you to mix & match where appropriate to your needs as follows;
- Full Studio Group Apparatus Classes
- Individual Workouts Group Apparatus Classes
- Tower Group Apparatus Classes
Full Studio Group Apparatus Classes
A minimum of 1 private lesson is required to join our Full Studio Group Apparatus Classes for 4 people across the Reformer, Mat, Tower, Chairs & Barrels. These classes are exclusive, small & personal designed to progress you through the Pilates System using Traditional Pilates Methodology. I want to get to know you, see how you move to provide you with a tailored & personalised group class experience. Some clients are ready to join these classes after 1-3 lessons, whilst others may need more. Authentic Pilates is completely individualised & the learning process reflects your needs. If you have had a break from Pilates for 3 months or more, please book a Private lesson before rejoining.
Individual Workouts Group Apparatus Classes
Require commitment to private lessons consistently over a period of 6 months+ to become proficient with your own Pilates workout across all studio apparatus & mat so that you can undertake your workout semi-independently. Regular Private lessons are required to take these classes. They are scheduled by arrangement.
Tower Group Apparatus Classes
Taking a private lesson is not required to join our Tower Classes for 5 people, although a private lesson is recommended if you can. These classes are designed for mixed abilities/ experience levels & follow the Classical Pilates order of exercises across the mat & spring work for best results. Suitable for injury free beginners. Lengthen & strengthen with springs!

Barrel Classes
Pilates Small Barrel exercises are great for opening the chest & hips, providing extra length & flexibility in the extremities from which to build strength from the center (the core). The small barrel is supportive in all spinal movements allowing for safe inversions & articulations leaving you feeling mobilized & 10 feet taller again! These classes are designed for mixed abilities/ experience levels & follow the Classical Pilates order of exercises for best results. Suitable for injury free beginners.

Mat Classes
Authentic Pilates Mat is athletic & challenging exercise- you'll work your whole body & leave feeling strengthened, stretched & energized. We often use small apparatus in our classes to both support & add challenge. These classes are designed for mixed abilities/ experience levels & follow the Classical Pilates order of exercises for best results. Suitable for injury free beginners.
