In-Person Group Pilates Classes in Pontypridd's only Fully Equipped Classical Pilates Studio

All group classes take place in my fully equipped studio in Pontypridd Town Centre. Group Apparatus Classes are categorised as Beginner/ Basic, Open Level & Advanced. Group Mat Classes & Group Barrel Classes are all Open level.

Important note; If you have acute injuries, chronic pain, certain medical conditions (e.g; osteoporosis, neurological conditions), have recently had surgery or are pregnant, you need to take some private lessons before booking group classes. Build your foundation & learn your personal modifications first so that you are able to move safely with confidence in a group. 

Book via Gymcatch; You can buy a single class, 3 pack or 6 pack of Mat or Barrel Classes. For Group Apparatus Classes you can buy a single class 3, 6 or 9 pack. All single sessions & packages are to use over 12 weeks from date of purchase. All booked classes have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Bookings are self-managed via your Gymcatch account- book your classes to suit your schedule.

Small Group Apparatus Classes
 
In a small group of 4-5 people with lots of personal attention & guidance, you'll work the full system of the Pilates Method across the Reformer, Mat, Tower, Chairs & Barrels! Classes are categorised (see below) to ensure appropriate teaching for your level, to enable progression & enjoyment & to ensure a safe & positive experience of Authentic Pilates.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Basic/ Beginner:
Build your foundational skills & abilities on every piece of Pilates apparatus in the studio & the mat! If you are injury-free & a confident mover/ learner- start in Beginner/ Basic Group Apparatus Classes.
 
Open Level:
If you confidently know your Basic Reformer & Mat, open level classes are for you. Take the Basic classes alongside Open level classes to deepen the foundational work.
If you've had a break from Pilates for 3 months or more, please attend basic classes initially.
Prior approval is required before you book open level group apparatus classes.
 
Advanced/ Supervised Individual Workout:
If you've taken enough regular private lessons to know your individual workout routine across the apparatus & can confidently follow your individual workout card under supervision & guidance- these classes are for you. More of these sessions will be introduced as we grow as a Pilates community. Prior approval is required before you book Advanced/ Supervised Individual Workout Classes.

Barrel Classes
Pilates Small Barrel exercises are great for opening the chest & hips, providing extra length & flexibility in the extremities from which to build strength from the center (the core). The small barrel is supportive in all spinal movements allowing for safe inversions & articulations leaving you feeling mobilized & 10 feet taller again! Small Barrels are supplied.

Mat Classes
Authentic Pilates Mat is dynamic & challenging exercise- you'll work your whole body & leave feeling strengthened, stretched & energized. We often use small apparatus in our classes to both support & add challenge.
